Quality Standards and Accreditations

Quality Polywrapping Services
We aim to make sure you get a quality finish and ensure there aren’t errors that can cost you money, and cause your brand damage. i.e. missing inserts, multiple inserts, incorrect addressing, badly sealed polythene etc.

Our polywrapping procedures are ISO9001:2008 accredited, we have people undertaking manual quality checks on each polywrapping line as well as automatic double-detectors, and missing feed detectors.

We do not just pay lip-service to quality, we have actually been instrumental in helping drive up industry standards. Our CEO Ian Kavanagh helped found the MCA and IMDAS, and was Chairman of the MCA for three years. He also presents at many industry seminars.

Company Quality Policy
As a company, BTB Mailflight Limited aims to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations at all times. The Directors and Senior Management are committed to the operation and management of the company’s Quality Management System to the standards of EN ISO 9001:2000.

The Directors and the Senior Management team will provide all employees with the training, resources and information as appropriate, that they will need to fulfil their function and improve their performance.


Individual Quality Policy
All employees will be made aware of their part within the Quality Management System of BTB Mailflight Limited and the need to maintain an active role in maintaining quality objectives.

All employees will be encouraged to show a commitment to the continual improvement of standards and services provided by BTB Mailflight Limited.

The principles of teamwork and effective communication will form a central theme communicated to employees to create an open, honest and effective working environment.

Business continuity planning
We are conscious of the effect of a disaster on our customers, which is why we have documented our plans, and invested in Business Continuity resources both internal and external, ready for situations that we sincerely hope will never arise.

Investors in people
BTB Mailflight’s commitment to the training and development of its 190 employees was rewarded in May 2003 when we first achieved the prestigious Investors in People status.

Site and data security
We have a robust IT and data security policy, and our warehousing utilises CCTV, secure entry systems., and an alarm linked directly to the police.

Environmental policy
BTB Mailflight complies with all current Waste Management and Environmental Legislation, and we have recently committed to achieving the ISO14001 Environmental Management Standard.
